End of the world

Finally back to blogging, after a long hiatus. 2011 has definitely been a long year of ups and downs for me. New experiences indeed. Being thrown into a relationship, watching all my guy friends go thru the phase of NS life, entering the work force many times, meeting many new people, having many disagreements and learning from them, entering tertiary education, new CCA, and many more. So many things indeed, and I sure can't say there's not enough time given for me to cope, cos everyone has the same amount of time, I guess its how we utilize it.

Countdown last night was a terrible incident altogether. And I don't even bother asking for anyone's understanding. Its already been a terrible few weeks. Just add everything onto my shoulders. Its okay one. One day, someone will understand. Else, I shall just carry everything into my grave. Possibly one that I dug up for myself.

On a more cheerful note, my twentieth is coming. Maybe just invite my primary schoolmates for a small gathering. Or my np gals around to my house. Or even possibly, my tertiary mates. Actually, all these decisions, quite a headache. Maybe tertiary would be better since our schedules are already synchronised.

Okay I'm still in a bad mood. Getting off to a bad start in 2012. Is the world really ending?

Invasion of the ants

So damn awfully bloody frustrated. I wanted to study y’know. Even woke at 6am. But my mom was all like, wake up so early fo what, crazy, go sleep la. Alright so I woke up again at 7am. Breakfasted and then fell straight back to sleep again at 8am cos it was like, the sky was black and there seemed to be a thunderstorm brewing and it was so cold and the atmosphere was just right for a good lie in! Haha. Nah I’m not blaming the weather for making me a pig though. Cos anw after that I came online and saw this quote: "Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free." Which sounds totally cool don’t you think?? Haha. Anw, the main reason why I’m not studying right now is cos I woke in time for lunch and straight after that when I went back to my desk, I spotted ants! Like, no I’m not freaked out-.- It’s just that Idk why they were there! Like, totally no reason for them to be there and totally spoilt my mood. Its like 5 ants crawling over my notes. Wham, wham, wham, killed them all. Then spotted one more on my tb, killed. Then spotted one more on my table, killed it also. And this went on for several more minutes until I just got pretty frustrated. So now I’ve abandoned my noted in my bedroom and am sitting in front of my laptop in the study room, blogging. And just in case you were wondering, no I do not eat in my room and for that matter, I did not even chew sweets in there for the past week (that’s as far as I could rmb cos I haven’t studied in there for pretty long). And no, there were no ants there yesterday-.- Okay pretty disappointed with my assignment results for my modules! Like, imagine missing one mark for distinction! *bangs head against wall* alright fine, I’m pretty calm about it. Anyways, I can’t wait for Nov/ December!!!

The final countdown

Somehow, I managed to sign up for Google Adsense- think they relaxed the registration process somewhere, somehow. However, I have no idea where are the ads. Haha. No ads = no money L LOL.

Bad tooth days

My gums is hurting. I think its the lao mao bing of my wisdom tooth again. I think my the growth of my wisdom tooth has led to the swelling of my gums which in turn causes swallowing and chewing difficulty. Not to mention, awkward movement of the jaws which imply a certain level of challenge when ingesting food and when talking. This has led to a certain of mucus being produced by my glands to soothe whatever is hurting. I'm jsut afraid it may lead to immflamation of gums and later, sore throat plus fever, not to mention, flu. And this is not even a one-day kinda thing. Its more like, many many days already- so much so that I've lost count. Instead of waking up each morning with a feeling of dryness in your throat ( as in the case of a sore throat), you wake up each morning with a horrible feeling of ache in your gums at the back of your mouth as if you had a tooth ache, get the rough idea?

okayszx anyways I'm sooooo proud of myself for getting my butt off the couch and going down to jog this evening. Cos ususally I'll be too lazy to even go downstairs.. BUT. Today I overcame the temptation of staying home to watch tv and instead, tied up my hair, put on my socks, and went down to jog to cck. Hah. And that's not the best part yett. The best part is, I jogged there and back without stopping! Well, I did, abit. For abit of the last part only. But it was soooo much better than my previous times! Okay I admit I'm abit of a failure when it comes to running/jogging but hey, its whether you reach the end or not okayy. Well, at least that's what my mind tells me =)

I'm abusing my body, seriously. Just two days ago, I went to purchase a pack of eight chips. But the upside is that I have yet to devour a single one yet. May do so later though. And then yesterday, just for the sake of trying out a new piece of technology because I was sooooo attracted to the new method of purchasing goods at NTUC Clementi Mall, I stepped in and bought packs of 5 Jagabee [Now left with 2 only:( ]. Partly cos I was itching to try them too. Hah. There's this new payment method that allows for single basket purchasers to scan their own purchase and make payment all by themselves at the various booths, like how you would borrow books at the nlb. Sounds cool, hur! But the system keeps screwing up though and I had to ask for assistance twice. Sounds like a noob, as if I couldn't follow simple instructions. Lucky there was not many people lol. But hey, not my fault, its system error please! The first was cos the screen was stuck at the previous purchaser's purchases. The second, well, I got too excited/bored and stabbed at the touch-screen too fast (how was I to know that it was lagging??!) and then it suddenly zoomed with all my commands at one go. Erps.

Kinda stressed, cos I haven't studied anything fo my stats test. Well, everytime I try to, I fall asleep. LOL. Hmmm. I think its the fengshui of this room. or must be the fengshui of th air arround me. Since I've just shifted my work area from my room to the study room. Lol.

SAMSUNG

woohoo i've finally gotten a laptop to call my own. Can't believe I waited twelve years for this day! Twelve years of waiting, of empty promises, finally realised. Need I say more? Haha. Haven't been posting for the past half year cos I've been reallyyyy busy t.t I've so many photos to upload! Photos that weern't uploaded onto fb cos they were either unclassified or else there was no point creating a new album for as they were just a few standalone photos.

First, my laptop model's Samsung. What I predicted really came true. My dad bought me a Samsung camera at IT fair few years ago, and co-incidentially a Samsung external drive this year at a EXPO fair. And it happens that my handphone's model is SAMSUNG too! Lol. So SAMSUNG-ishh.

And yes, I've started UNI! The day to me wearing the four point hat (direct translation from chinese, lol)  is drawing closer, haha. In exactly three years time! I've even got the exact date that my course ends, gosh! Have to keep reminding myself that this is really the last lap of my education pathway le. I shouldn't fail myself at this stage, really.

And I still owe alot of my pen-pels letters! Today I went to buy two stamps from the SAM (automated machine), it was super cool! Like a noob~ HAHAHA. Yay-ness. Now, to find time to send letters to Perth, to UK and to Thammy ;)

I have neglected this blog for quite some time. I'm prolly gonna suffer from split personality from hopping between two blogs. urgh. Alrightt. For a quick sum-up of my life through Feb till now. One of my oldest friends migrated to Australia so his group of friends planned a surprise birthday cum farewell party for him and invited all his friends along- which was very decent of them indeed!

Oh but Surya's so annoying he went to stalk my activities on fb and kinda guessed what was happening urgh! Seriously I wasnt the one who spoilt the surprise lorrr! =X :(

When we arrived at his friend's house the party hadn't really gotten started so the atmosphere between us (pri sch classmates) and his friends (mostly RI guys) were kinda um. awkward.~ Esp since the RI p6 fren who invited us couldnt make it there at the last minute! When me and my two other galfriends stepped in we were like, omg why all guys! High testosterone level alert! Haha. Seriously!! But in all it was pretty awesome and everyone chipped in some money so the party was quite cool I must say.

Okay I have no resolutions as yet. i shall make them up as we go along. Kinda defeats the purpose huh? lets sum up the whole of Jan first and get this task off my mind so that I can get back to spring cleaning and prepare to collect angpows later.

3jan- 5jan, 09s20 class chalet.
originally, I thought it would be rather dreary, cos I'm not very close to my classmates? So I brought very little clothes, planned to escape after the bbq on the 2nd nite or early on day 3 morning. The chalet proved me wrong. It reminded me of the friends I had in there. Oops. but anyways, the 2hrs+ night cycling was fun, but painful. Ouch.I never knew bicycle seats could hurt too, since you're the cyclist and you're kinda rather comfortably seated.

 Oh and so yh got slightly high on the alcohol cos they were playing some indian poker game or something, so the next morning when we went breakfast, I rode with her and the photo came out looking like this...

Its been not-so-long since my last post but so much has happened.

First, the end of As. I'm not very happy about it. As the day passes the dread increases.

Next, prom night. It was at Hilton with the Muttons on the Move. Not that memorable but interesting nontheless. Decided not to bring camera because I decided to let others take photos for me :) Not many photos for me to take anyway. Oh and I finally wore contacts. Yes.

Buffer day. Too tired to remember anything but Sakae at Scape. Followed by a trip to JE library to borrow books lol. Went for a temple dinner at night. That day, 9dec, was totally an eating day.

Then came my Taiwan Trip. My second time on the plane, this time on Eva Airlines. Not many movies to keep me entertained on the way back. TW's weather was the best; it was winter time. Imagine the icy, chilly wind whipping your hair round your face and the sun burning down on you from the other side. Get the idea? I loved the trip though cos we went different hotels everyday and the hotels were uber cool. The sceneries didnt interest me that much, to be serious. More interested in the food at the various night markets hee. But Shilin was quite a disappointment cos they mainly sold one type of food and it quickly became boring. Nice weather though! Oh and I sat the thing which shoots up to the sky and ZOOOMs down at the theme park in Taoyuan. Gosh. I wanted to do it all over again but noone would go with me Zzz.

Xmas party was cool and a blast. Literally. Blasted the sparkling juice all over the place. The cork flew out and hit the ceiling. Together with bits of frozen juice. On the ceiling. Raining down on me. I swear I havent even pulled the cork yet. Ended up mopping the house. The Swensons ice cream log cake melted too. Even though the dry ice was still intact. Hence when I cut the cake, the icecream just oozed out. What a flop. Nontheless, interesting. Haha.

Then I brought my friends to eat this famous claypot chicken in clementi. And we had Koi too haha.

And I just came back from Chalet this week with my GFs! more specifically, my nhnp clique. The female side. heh. And Tyt was totally wearing this Yoga pants haha. We stayed overnight at HTNS rugged chalet 6 and there was this huge lizard spotted by Huijuan (I believe it was a Gecko); as a result we had to sleep with the light on lol. Ah yes we played truth or dare and I was thruth-ed about '3 characteristics abt yongxiang and aaron' I totally huh-ed. HAHA. And then Sweetheart was dared to msg Bryan ' What would your rxn be if I told you I like you?' His reply? 'Awesome.' HAHA. We called Bryan and counted down to last day of 2010 with him. I woke at 4am to find all but Chu gone (Chu has work and so was sleeping). I strolled to the swings, sat down called yingzxs and then waited.. waited. waited. apparently it got chilly and creepy and so I went back. Haha. Woke at 6am to go eat breakfast tgt and then chu left for work and the gals went to catch a nap while I went to get some Uno cards. Played till 10 and checked out. Fun times.

Last night I accompanied my gran to Gombak for countdown cos she so badly wanted to go. Slightly boring but who cares. My gran had fun. It was her first countdown. We bused there but We walked home. Which was why I didnt realise that my bus fare was raised; I havent had a chance to use my ezlink! Wa heng I didnt take bus aft the party and saved on busfare heh.

Today my family just on-th-spot decided to have a makeshift BBQ at the balcony. Ended up making a mess cos all the smoke came in. Well, not really a mess but we did spend some time cleaning the house. Again. Rmb the Xmas party fiasco? Zzz. I think we don't have to do spring cleaning liao lol.

Today morning I met TYT at chinese garden to go nh. Hmmmm I was late for ten minutes BUT. On my defence, i had expected TYT to still be in bed when I left home and hence was rather surprised to find out that she's already on the tube when I was waiting for the bus. Went back, watched the FDC. And was like thinking how, back then, FDC was like, so prestigious and stuff? I'm not sure if it still is or not though, it just doesn't seem like the opportunity to be part of the contingent is being relished by some, when you look at the degree of seriousness with which they treat the most basic of the basics, like posture and stuff? It was fun though, to a certain extent, to watch them train and stuff, reveling in past fdc memories.

I was so sick, decided to take a day off from the world yesterday. Hence I slept throughout the day. And I'm so refreshed today! yeppers. In fact, I just came back from Queenstown with YINGz. She went to get her bro a bd gift and she asked me along. And I think for the first time in my life I had laksa with HUMs. Or maybe it is even the first time in my life that I had laksa. lol. Since I prefer mee siam usually haha. Well, then it started to rain like, super heavy. I must say, thank goodness it only started to rain when I was otw home.

Hope it doesnt rain tomorrow noon in the EAST! :) and well, in the morning in the West too. hahs. ANDAND next monday too! It always seem to be raining on Advance Party Day then cannot dig shit hole or something =/ But then again, maybe they decided not to dig shithole this time round since there's toilets in the sch cpd afta alll. LOL.

Okay, i think I'll go practise MCQs tonight. Feeling guilty cos I havent studied ever since the last paper.
